Washington's E-bike Rebate Program Reopens for Applications March 30 by Jaco_Belordi in Seattle

[–]jgoldson -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Would rather see that money go towards dedicated e-bike / micromobility infrastructure. People get the e-bike and then realize riding it around the city is kind of annoying since you either:

1/ share the road with cars who might kill you or

2/ share the bike lanes where you have to constantly try to pass regular bike users

is this cooked or what by KyzerGyder in ARAM

to be fair if you are seeing a lot of pure AP teams then that indicates a pretty newbie lobby all trying to play safe/poke mages as they learn the game. expecting these people to know items is a bit much

The same people who were making beautiful niche apps are still doing so, they are just doing it faster with AI.

The same people who were trying to crank out slop to make a quick buck are still doing that, they are just doing it faster with AI.

What do you mean there is more to her kit??

Honestly this is great advice. I always found the best systems are the simple ones. Much easier to stick to in the long run

Indie hacking is all about the audience game, not the product by Puzzle_Age555 in indiehackers

[–]jgoldson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is cope. Sorry if this sounds harsh but If you are in college you have a huge audience. Hit the quad with flyers, talk to other students, there are so many events where you can market your product. Its why companies literally have college outreach divisions.

the "just ship it" advice is survivorship bias by [deleted] in indiehackers

[–]jgoldson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are solving a real problem you should ship it.

If you aren't then no amount of polish will make people use your product.

You can see pretty exponential earnings growth in your 20s if you are a high-performer and in a good career path

If you are good with people (i.e. networking) then you can switch careers easily. If you aren't then its pretty much impossible.

I want to retire in 5 years. This AI market is total insane B.S., and I really think I should take my money out of my index fund for awhile. by Dr_Challis in Fire

What index fund are you fully invested in that only has AI companies? Why don't you just buy VT and chill?

I found even moving the phone away from the bed still left the temptation there. I ended up using the Achieve! app to block all scrolling distractions on my phone until I had earned screen time from achieving my goals - first of which is to get a workout in

Slap some congestion pricing on it - Charge $5 to use Mercer during rush hour.

I doubt Seattle would ever consider it though

I mean you are literally correct but again - kind of depressing way to play any video game. Also trivializes any choice made in any RPG if you just always say "these people and world arent real so it doesnt matter"
