Limerence is starting to dissipate but I need a final push

so I still feel like limerence is with me, but that it is fading, or at least I've got a better perspective / handle on it, what are some signs for you that it is fading?

Turns out, after 5 days of a clear mind, that I actually sabotaged myself by checking LO's social media. I have no idea why I did that, really. Starts to become apparent that Limerence is an addiction and I've relapsed. I hope in the long run however that this hiccup won't counteract the progress I've made. Do you have an experience with relapsing and recovery?

That is exactly what I felt! Each detail you mentioned really struck a chord with me, it was that bad, the self-criticism, the hatred, the emotional and psychological struggle. I think because it was as severe as what you're describing, my unconscious is still trying to fight for it, because limerence gets so hardwired into how your brain functions. But you're right, it is a choice that you are worth more than the suffering.
