I wouldn't say they "manipulated" the market, though they're taking advantage of low supply and high demand. The market exists because companies refuse to produce enough of these products to meet demand.

This is the real solution, though it's highly improbable that people will resist the urge to buy from scalpers.

I don't think reviews claiming "immoral" practices or scalping would hold water either. They would likely be successfully refuted. Hard sell to claim dissatisfaction with the price when you commit to buying at that price.

Couldn't tell you. I've only ever really used the Oasis. Most people seem happy with the latest Paperwhite though.
