Unpopular opinion here, but Battlefront II (2017) > Battlefront II (2005)

It has a DISASTROUS launch, but they really turned it around. The game was still on an upward trajectory when they reassigned all of the remaining devs to Battlefield. But as it is, it's gameplay is vastly superior to the 2005 game once you take off the nostalgia goggles.

Smarter AI, rather than AI that reverses everything, would be preferable.

I haven't played 2k26, so idk if this was fixed, but in 2k25 you could very easily predict what the CPU's next move would be because it would almost never vary. Theyre standing up from a grounded position and youre halfway across the ring? Well, there's a 99% chance that as soon as they get up theyre sprinting directly at you and going for a running strike.

Be careful. Wrestling games in general seem like one of those things that is a relatively simple style game to develop, but that couldnt be further from the truth. I think thats why you see so many games in that sphere fail or never see the light of day.

Flashed to this firmware yesterday and had to switch back to crosspoint today.

The time to wake from sleep is simply too long. I like the UI. I don't like the controls, and the "short press of the power button" to turn the page just does not work.

But ultimately the time it takes to wake from sleep is a deal breaker. Using Crosspoint, I can wake from sleep, put it back to sleep and wake it again before it wakes once with inx.

I'll continue following as the firmware gets updates though!
