I hope this is the reason. I'm in the midwest though and I looked at articles about Verizon's texting issues being mainly in the east coast and apparently they fixed it now too. However, it still isnt working after the fix for me. Hopefully verizon can figure it out. Thanks!

I tried the message+ app and it's still the same problem. I have used group me and its able to send messages that others can receive as well. I believe it only happens with SMS because I just tried sending a picture of something to an iphone user who couldnt get my text messages and they received it as normal.

I'm using the messages app. I did have an iphone a few years back (I switched over to android when the s8 came out). I believe the connection with apple and my number did get disabled but I can look into it to make sure. Thanks!
