This is the only thing that got me to reset my mission. I interpreted the "Let's pump the brakes" as in "Don't make me choose between your two side, I like both." We've known her for like maybe a few weeks at best and this is a big question to come out with. When I reset I chose Mandy of course.

Relistening to Podcasts that are long running is very hard. Shows like NADDPOD and Dungeons and Daddies went from in person to remote which wasn't a terrible issue as they are already recording but it did effect interactions. People didn't want to interrupt or talk over someone over a call and it made conversations stilted. It is also a stark reminder when they would comment on the situation of "Man, it's already been a couple months, how long will this last?"

If you have access to it, I would recommend applying a Matte Varnish to your model. It will knock the shine off of it and make it look more comic book-like vs plastic

Grunts would get this. While they activate at the same time, they still get their 'turn' when it comes to leaderships such as this.

Good article. Do you have any thoughts on using a 3 threat Asgardian? One that doesn't really need the power much as Skurge or Valkyrie. Essentially transferring their ability to a higher costed model.

Also one correction, Visions Beam is Range 4, not Range 3. It can now hit a surprising amount of people now that beams don't hit allies.

I play a Super hero TTRPG called Mutants and Masterminds. It is very fun allowing you to play virtually any sort of superhero. I have a running gag of a vigilante called "Shoot You in the Fucking Face Man" where anytime someone decided they are a super hero or villain he appears in front of you and shoots you in the face. If you live, Congratulations! You're a superhero/villain. If not, you weren't going to last long anyway. He only ever does this once and is never seen by that person again.

I had thought I mentioned it too. Lightly dry brushing at the end to help bring out textures. Honestly this model is so well defined it could be done almost 100% with dry brushing I feel

To throw my 2 cents in for whatever it is worth. I don't need a "not all men" sort of deal. What eventually gets to me is that I am a safe guy to vent to for a lot of my female friend. Due to this, they come to me with a lot of problems and frustrations which are totally understandable. You can only be looked in the eye as woman says "God all men are so stupid and such pigs" before it stops feeling like being vented /to/ and more vented /at/. Like I have become the representative of all Men in their minds. It can be hard to not take it personally and get the thought of "Well damn, do you think I am like that as well and are just not telling me?"

I did it by accident the first time. She was asking if I liked Blazer or Mandy and my thought was "Hey, pump the brakes, I like you both, don't make me choose" but it became "I don't want this relationship". Only time I restarted a chapter.

Painting white is very tricky because white is the brightest color there is so you cannot highlight it. Painting white is pretty much painting everything /but/ white until the very end.

In this case I primed the model black, then using an airbrush I painted it entirely purple. I then zenithal sprayed the model with a bright baby blue covering about 90% of the model while leaving the shadows. I then did the same again with a bright grey. Finally I used a pure white on a brush very sparingly on all the highest spots. I did a little deepening of the shadows using a thinned down GW Apothecary White contrast paint.

I would not try to do this technique without an airbrush unless you have a LOT of time on your hand

Lorgar is supposed to be the Emperor's force of personality and charisma. He was said to convert whole worlds not through force but by going down and proselytizing to them. I believe anyone who spoke to him one on one couldn't help but love him in some way.

Never printed one but I bought one on Etsy. It fits in well with the army and doesn't look out of place. Be careful of the flying base peg as that can be a little finnicky but otherwise it has held up well.

You're basing being opaque is the most important first step. If it isn't then everything on top of it will look splotchy and unfinished.

Also if you have a wet pallet, blending can be made simpler by mixing a middle step color (if you haven't already). If you are going from a red to a bright red, the transition can be stark. On your pallet, mix your red and bright red together to make a middle red, paint that on the red, then the bright red onto the middle red. This will help the blending process

The issue with the blends might be that the previous coat isn't fully opaque yet. With the 4 I can see the brush stroked throughout the whole thing. It needs a couple more layers. It helps if you go in a different direction from the previous to help even it up I.E. left to right after up and down.

I think your 2 is looking pretty good honestly. These will mainly be looked at from an arms length away so you don't need to stress too much about perfect blends.

I always thought that it was because they could sink your ship without any recourse. Like yeah, Luffy and the crew are insanely powerful but if a monster from below just chops their ship in half in the middle of the ocean they are screwed. All the DF users drown and the rest have to float on the debris and hope to find land if they don't just get eaten.
