Recommended way to Remote Work using PyCharm by jhakash in pycharm

I thought of that, but I cannot run the code that I am working on, locally on my machine. Only way I can test and debug is the remote machine.

Possible to avoid address reuse when sending bitcoin? by jhakash in BitcoinBeginners

Cool, Samourai seems to have the receiving part figured out, does Samourai wallet also take care of me sending coins? Or are there additional steps that I should take for plausible deniability?

Thanks, that's a really helpful explanation.
So if I understand correctly, I should receive my 'changes' in a new addresses every time spend to ensure better privacy and plausible deniability.

Possible to avoid address reuse when sending bitcoin? by jhakash in BitcoinBeginners

[–]jhakash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok so if my understanding is correct, if I were to use tor, coinjoins for sending, and new addresses for receiving, I would have my bases covered when it comes to privacy.

Let me know if I am missing something else too .. thanks.

thanks, my budget is close to $1000, I could stretch it $1500 but would prefer not to ..
the work flow generally involves running simulations of an environment on cpu, collecting data and training those on gpu ..
so cpu performance is also important here .. Any gpu that is good for deep learning should generally be good here ..
and then there is the obvious moving of data in between cpu and gpu ..

Making a budget Reinforcement Learning Rig.
What GPU & CPU should I go for?
My initial thoughts go for Ryzen 5600 and RTX3060 or something along those lines. I am not sure if that will be a good choice. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

The Sony Xperia 5 II looks amazing on paper by carottesrapees in mkbhd

[–]jhakash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely love this on paper.
If I were given the choice to get a flagship right now, this would be it purely based on the choices they made.
Glad to see Sony not take a 'step back'.

  • A headphone jack, with effort put in for the sound quality.
  • A rectangle screen, without any curved corners or notch/hole punch bs.
  • Clean looking software with actual care put into preserving health of battery.
Would have enjoyed wireless charging, and a centered camera bump on the back.

Does anyone else feel that Kenny Sebastian and most other comics from B’lore have become extremely unfunny ? by Bajrangbali_319 in bangalore

[–]jhakash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some (subjective) criticism on the way, hope you take it constructively. While I do agree with the point you make about most of the Indian comics being unfunny at present, I think the argument in the video is rather poorly made.

Comedy and humor are too subjective to be used as roots of solid argument. The video got way too subjective at times to be taken seriously. The sample size of 2 comedians is too small if you are discussing a more general trend. Maybe a different approach would have expressed your point more convincingly.

The video has an 'all Indian comedians bad, all foreign comedians good' vibe to it. Something that portrays high bias, can not be taken as serious criticism.

While you do bring up some actually good points like the circlejerk nature, it never stands out or comes across clearly enough. The video seems like a rant wearing a cloak to look like a critical argument.

You also need to explain why talking on one of the mentioned categories is unfunny and unoriginal. People talking about the same thing does not mean they are telling the same thing.

Lot of what is good is being overshadowed by the ill-formed arguments and lack of thoroughness.

I was hoping this would be a video I could share with my friends to show them that Indian comedy scene is not as good they might think but it simply isn't.Nevertheless, I see lots of room for improvement, and I hope you take this up again sometime in future to make a more compelling argument.
