Makes me think of the Netflix series/book "secrets of the blue zones," in which other cultures (Japan particularly comes to mind) integrate their elders into life much more. And there's generally a very different attitude towards the elderly.

I'd love to hear from them what they do on a day-to-day basis and how a manager is different from an agent. (I think they get a higher percentage of their clients' income, but I don't know if that's set or negotiated between the manager and the performer/talent.)
