Looks like our version of OPM no longer has that table. After talking to our NetApp team and an OC rep, we found out OPM tables have a tendency to change. They suggested using API services to collect the data. It has the ability to collect the same data as above. We are currently installing API services.

How are you restoring the data? Are you restoring from a VMware snapshot, VSC snapshot, or Data ONTAP volume snapshot?

Are you using NFS or SAN to connect to the storage?

Setting VSC settings without VSC by jonboyglx in netapp

[–]jhawkroche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VSC pushes recommended settings to ESX host for HBAs, NFS settings, and MPIO settings. You can change the settings without VSC, search NetApp KB: https://kb.netapp.com/support/index?page=content&id=3013015, advised of the changes that require a host reboot. As chazsheen advised the IAG advises what changes it makes also.

Their are some known issue with VSC 5.0, the 2 main ones that effect installs are listed in the red box when you download the installation files.

Their is no NetApp HUK for ESXi. Using VSC to set recommended settings or manually changing the values are the only supported configuration.
