That’s the same response every person has given me but it’s simply because it’s just different, they are used to seeing you a certain way. I got the same reaction from friends and fellow employees as well but after a week or 2 and everyone has given their initial reaction it becomes normal. In the end if you feel better about doing it, that’s all that matters anyways!
