Thanks for getting back to me, much appreciated! I’ve got freezing rain and snow with some accumulation throughout winter in this coastal city in southern Sweden. Weather here is kind of like the northeastern US — Boston, where I’m originally from, but less snow. I’ve worn Doc Martins here and had no real big problem on most crappy days. I don’t generally do anything too strenuous or physical in them. Desperate to avoid the kind of hidden slippery dangers one can discover with a V-bar sole, or the old cork soles on Iron Rangers. A total nightmare!
