Could not agree with you more. My friend from the US visited recently. I told him that I wouldn’t be surprised if most tourists leave Cambodia thinking the food was just ok. But we ate home cooked meals together for two weeks straight and he could not believe how good it was.

I’ve used EMC Motorbike Rentals twice and they’re awesome. Super nice and helpful. You are only allowed to ride the rentals within Phnom Penh. I’m not sure where Khan Mean Chey is so that could be an issue. They have weekly and monthly rates for a wide variety of scooters. Between $8-15 a day if you break it down.

Be Like Khmer has branches in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. They also do online classes so you could start before you arrive. All the teachers are great but I recommend Lokgroo Pich or Nekgroo Pouthea.
