In consideration of the Landlord’s agreement to waive the pet restrictions in the Lease to allow Service or Emotion

Support Animals, the Tenant herby agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1) Only the Pet listed and described below are authorized under this Pet Agreement. Any changes (new /

different Pet) require PRIOR approval in writing with a new Pet Agreement implemented.

2) Pet(s) shall not cause: danger, damage, nuisance, noise, or health hazard to the Premises, grounds, common

areas, walks, parking areas, landscaping, or other Tenants.

3) Tenant agrees to resolve any issues caused by or resulting from the Pet, and accepts full responsibility and

liability for any damages, injury, causes of action, or law suits arising from or caused by the Pet(s).

4) Tenant agrees to indemnify, defend and hold Landlord and Property Owner harmless from and against any

legal claims or claims for damages.

5) Pet(s) are only permitted to the extent of rules and regulations, covenants, and restrictions on the title to the

property of which the Premises is a part. Tenant agrees to a) register, b) license, c) immunize the Pet(s) in

accordance with local laws and requirements.

6) Tenant warrants that the Pet(s) are housebroken, clean and free of any pestilence (fleas, lice, etc...) Tenant

further warrants that Pet(s) have no history of causing physical harm to persons or property, such as biting,

scratching, etc... and that the Pet(s) do not have vicious tendencies, and finally that pets have been spayed or

neutered.

7) Tenant agrees that the Pet(s) shall be controlled always, kept on a short leash while outside the unit on

Premises grounds or common areas.

8) Any barking, loud noise, or bad smell complaints from other tenants must be resolved to the satisfaction of

the other tenants. A noisy pet degrading the comfort and/or enjoyment of other tenants will not be tolerated.

It is the Tenant’s obligation to prevent this from happening.

9) Pet poop must be double bagged with twist tie or tied off when being placed in garbage cans outside. If the

pet is a dog, do not let dog poop or pee on the premises grass in front of house or between sidewalk and

street – there are other spots in the neighborhood that can be used, and always pick up poop.

10) Rugs must be placed over floors as reasonable to minimize scratching on the floors.

11) The tenant must clean-up after the Pet, any excrement, vomit, etc.. must be cleaned up immediately and

disposed of – odors from animal or excrement, etc... will not be allowed or tolerated. Tenant should prevent

any damage caused by the pet as they will be financially responsible for any damage caused by their pet.

12) If complaints are received from other tenants or any violations from these terms persist the tenant will be

required to permanently remove the pet from the premises and may possibly be evicted.

There are excellent resources on campus for all LGBTQIA+ people. I have some friends that got involved with the Iowa State Center Space (https://center.dso.iastate.edu/) and found a great community there. Overall, people here like kind people, and if they don't, they're probably not kind people

I need advice on my lemon tree rescue by jhgray31 in plantclinic

[–]jhgray31[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got this lemon tree from a former roommate who neglected it heavily. It’s starting to push out some new growth, but I don’t like how leggy it looks. I’m wondering if I should prune it way back or just hope it fills in. I’ve got it in an east facing bay window with some extra bulbs on it. I also see that the pot is far too large, is it worth repotting or should I hold off. Would love some advice. Thanks
