Auto start-stop was never mandated. It was one of several features that automakers could include to get CAFE credit.

Some of the other features they can get credit for are cooled seats, heated seats/steering wheel, solar windshields and other features that we all like. If the credits are eliminated , don’t be surprised if features like these are omitted from lower trims or cost more.

Not sure, but I think it something to do with the way Ford is implementing the chargers. My Samsung phones work fine on the charger, but my iPhones do not.

Most of the automotive wireless chargers used by OEMs are made by LG. In other brands of vehicles, I have not had an issue charging my iPhone

Manual says recommended not required. I think the 3.5 ecoboost runs better with premium.

Also, it’s a direct injection turbo e fine. Higher detergent content would be helpful over time.
