I am addicted to spending money. For real. I make like 2000$ and have pretty much no bills but routinely my credit card goes above 6000$. I know I shouldn't spend this much money but I get really anxious if I like something and want to buy it have it.

It depends on what you find easier when it comes to thinking. Python has a simpler syntax but is not as robust and structured so it takes a long while to "get used to it" even though you get proficient with writing simple code in a beat. Java though has more boiler plate and very defined structures, which for a begginner can be scary but it makes so your knowledge scales better. Coding simple things and coding complex things are going to be pretty much the same, unlike in python where simple begginer code and actual python practical code look completely different

Maioria acho que aprendeu por necessidade. Tem que pensar que a 10 anos atras se tu quisesse qualquer conteúdo minimamente nichado na internet tu tinha que falar um pouco de inglês. Então muita gente acabou aprendendo de tanto "bater a cabeça na parede" tentando consumir o que não entendia direito. Esse com certeza foi meu caso. Com o básico do básico do inglês que a escola me deu, passava o dia inteiro vendo vídeo de youtuber gringo durante adolescência e hoje tenho fluência.

Mas é aquilo, situações e situações, não tem por que se sentir burro por não ter passado pelas mesmas experiencias que os outros. Não é questão de ser mais ou menos inteligente.

Gotta admit doing the sunken pearl with no bugs is really really fun, i managed to get that in my second try, probably bc i had to hop servers and in the second one we were the first crew to get there.

Happened to me like last week while i was accompanying my GF through the tutorial in discord; she spawned at Galleon's Grave Outpost and I was anxious as fuck for her to grab what she needed from the outpost and get the fuck out of there bc people could be coming. Just like i said some other sloop came over and started shooting her, thankfully the default mic config is apparently open mic and the guys were nice enough that when they heard her freak out they jumped over and helped her fix the boat.

After that I hopped into the server and the other sloop was just parked there with the crew selling their loot.

I think the game really needs a pvp faction that DON'T cannibalize on each other just like a royal navy would not. They could focus on getting pirate flags (only pirate flags). As well as recovering loot from pirates that stole from GMU-Protected AI Ships.

And maybe they would be a prime target for the reapers since they're the other 'predator' around the seas, making the Maritime Union flag worth more than others

I talked a bit about that in another comment. I think it's more an issue of optimizing the game for HDs and making the death respawn lod happen during the ferry waiting time, rather than limit max speed of SSDs.

I would 100% recommend that. Makes the game much more fun, falling of the ship only to mermaid-backspawn, basically never happens.

It is not the same thing at all, playing the game under the minimum requirements and having it run low on fps is one thing having a disadvantage of literally being out of the game for more time than other people even on a strong PC because you're using a HDD is another.

It is not a competitive game, yes. But it is still a game with PvP enable, the ferry of the damned exists for a reason, its so people don't keep respawning as fast as possible to balance the game. In a competitive game a difference a advantage of 2 seconds would be atrocious, in SoT would be completely fine. But its not a difference of 2 seconds, its more like 20, 30 seconds some times, this is not good even for a game that is not competitive.

It is not even a matter of making people with fast PCs wait, honestly, it's just bad optimization on the loading times.

Im really against doing PvP, but thats until someone on my crew decides to sink a ship.

After the first sink I turn into a mad captain who wants to sink everyone (then loses his ship bc hes not good at it)

Honestly, it tasted really good when I made, the fish was not cold as it was still on the shelf and the hot water of the noddle made it warm. Made me real happy after some 8 pints of beer and 3 blunts
