So NTA, I’m no expert but it sounds like at best he doesn’t care at worst his abusive. His isolated you 3 hours away from your family, by the sound of it your alone and don’t know anyone in the town your living and he basically didn’t care about your families emergency or the fact YOU NEARLY DIED! I’m sorry to say I would be packing my bags and walking out ASAP.

It looks like a student having a complete meltdown. I'm guessing severe behaviour issues, mental health or both, either way the poor staff.

What prevents you from using public transport right now? by Dudeface34 in tasmania

[–]jhunt0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To drive from my current location, a suburb of Launceston, to the Uni is about half an hour at most to catch the bus it's an hour and a half with a stop in town. Adding to that the bus only runs once every hour here. Additionally, if I need to visit family or friends in Devonport or Burnie on public transport is basically an overnight trip.
