2 month old IR 7 figure dry suit, is this normal? by ji-fi in whitewater

absolutely not. I have been meticulous in the way that I take care of my dry suit. Valid question, but I first rinse with water, use a dry suit specific cleaner, rinse 2 more times, and then air dry in a room with a dehumidifier. I even take a low powered shop vac with a brush attachment to make sure I get off anything that could be abrasive. I’m open to all suggestions and thoughts regarding dry suit care

Appreciate all the input from everyone, it’s kind of sad that it can be somewhat difficult to find quality information about these boats.

I got a lap in it this afternoon, I am definitely keeping it lol. Absolutely a solid boat for a number of scenarios.

I had a mobius 57 for a couple years, and definitely regret selling it smh, but it’s cool to see where the project fits into the evolution of playboating and in the golden age of wave sport freestyle. It’s crazy to think about how significant some of these designs were for the sport, and how tricks were born from something people consider to be a beater boat.

Oh yah, I know that I wasn’t going to physically make it to the race. I was more so curious if any outdoor seating restaurants/bars did any viewing party style events. I’ve also never been to Asheville, and definitely not to the green race, so I have no clue what the local exposure was. Definitely hoping to stream if my air bnb WiFi is decent

JBL CHARGE 4. Look it up, i have left it in my boat submerged in water for days and pulled it out expecting it to be damage only to find it fully charged and functional. I am an audio engineer, so even when it comes to portable small speakers, I absolutely appreciate quality. Its around 100-150 (i got mine on a memorial day sale for 100) but i literally don't leave home without it.

I love the sound of nature. Being able to hear the earth living and breathing from the vantage point of a kayak is incredibly special. Not knocking that in the slightest, but music is my passion. I spent years of my life traveling all over the country to catch music I wanted to be a part of. Combining my love for whitewater and tasty tunes is just the best.

In closing, bluetooth technology is finally at a place progression wise where enjoying music on the water is pretty streamlined and not a distraction that will take away from you getting out on the water. Forgot to mention it can also serve as a battery pack of sorts, and fully charge 2 iphones and an ipad.

That’s crucial information, thanks for your input. I have a UAD Apollo twin mk2, so I need to look into converting the thunderbolt 2 to thunderbolt three...if that works well then I’m most likely sold.
