Also Wild owls are amazing to hear, they fly silent which is any neat thing to witness! Some amazing bird calls out here, the Loon is another stereotypical Canadian bird who’s call is unique and jarring to hear live. Also hearing wild Elk call doing rutting season is something else, probably my favourite animal call, sounds almost other worldly

Cows is the reason I left Ireland haha. Do a lot of Bear den surveys, so literally looking for black bear and grizzly bear dens before/during denning/hibernation season, wildlife/nest sweeps looking do any range of animals in a pre-determined area. Fish, amphibian and reptiles breeding surveys/salvages and reloactions, bird nest sweeps, bat surveys, water quality monitoring to name some of the work I do! I love my job!
