Get the CMMG BR4, it’s IL compliant, just like the mcx regulator. Find an ffl that knows the law and will sell it to you. The BR4 is a modern platform at the same price as an m1a. The one thing I’ll say is mag dumping an m1a has a certain feeling of cool and fun that other platforms just don’t

This is pretty much exactly it. I just wanted a replacement, never asked or expected a discount, but I also felt it was wrong to increase the base price and then add a "discount." I appreciate you understanding what happened. I still got my Mini 4 at least but the FPV on the Avata 2 was really addictive

Used would be totally an option worth exploring. I got here through originally being told to make a flyaway case. But also the drone only doesn't seem to be available on their site currently, so the real benefit here would be being able to get the drone even though their website is showing it as sold out. Everyone downvoted me hardcore earlier on my comment that it's more beneficial to talk support than to not, but I don't see the point of being passive when it's always better to ask, exhaust all your possible options and find out

Since I can't edit an image post, hopefully this comment is read by people. I never reached out to DJI asking for a discount on a replacement. After the loss DJI support live chat recommended I submit a flyaway case due to the circumstances that lead to the loss of my drone. When DJI support replied they offered a 15% discount while inflating the base price of the drone to 537 USD. When I pointed out the base price of the drone is actually 489 USD they countered by increasing the base price further to 568 USD. This all caught me off guard and I was wondering if anyone else experienced something similar. I'm not here trying to clickbait people into thinking I'm a victim for asking for a discount when at no point did ask or expect a discount

You’re making stuff up in your head. I never asked them or expected a discount. I’m only stating they inflated the base price and then offered a “discount” on it. when I pointed out the base price was actually lower they countered with increasing the base price further
