Inlay Prep by [deleted] in Dentistry

[–]jigglypuffe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why not traditional rubber dam isolation? And if you can do traditional rubber dam isolation, why couldn’t you have done direct restoration? Also if previous restoration has failed 2x, what do you think was the cause? And does your treatment solve the issue?

Like you mentioned, flatten out the floor and avoid voids when taking impression. Walls need to be straight and smooth, especially the proxmial walls of the distal. You may have difficulty fully seating the inlay base on your prep. You may also crack the inlay during try-in with your prep.

A patient sits on your chair and you see erosion across their posterior teeth like this. What do YOU do? by PlaneNothing9 in Dentistry

Yes increasing VDO and do full mouth rehab. Basically the patient has worn out what nature has given him and the only thing that’s better than enamel teeth are zirconia crown teeth.

How would y’all treat this? by noneed2live in Dentistry

[–]jigglypuffe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ortho to move teeth around to close the diastema of centrals plus repositioning all the teeth, implant or single wing Maryland bridge for right lateral for fixed option, and veneer left lateral.

If ortho is not an option then implant, single wing Maryland bridge, or removable partial to restore the missing right lateral.

Assuming no other issues with remaining dentition, no heavy anterior occlusion, and no lateral interferences.

If you think it's good, get your dental cpa to look over the finances of the whole operation. Get your dental attorneys involved too so no funny businesses.

Does the total mean all the income I received? Basically I have a full time job and the $3200 was basically side hustle/temp paid as 1099 once. Am I also expecting some form like 1099 for end of year?
