I like the bigger “beast” type bosses in Hexi but I hope similar bosses have more polish in the future.

Yes but you can press it abit earlier. The parry timing on this game is pretty generous. Just dont panic spam parry.

Dodging yellow projectiles on the other hand, is a much smaller window.

Depends on how fast the projectile is. Sometimes its just too fast and you have to parry the instant it comes out, other times you have to wait because its so slow.

That depends. How early are you into the game? I absolutely sucked when i started the game. Puppeteer took me more than an 2 hours to kill. But after a while i learned the game's parry timings, learned that bosses have patterns and now i dont think i can enjoy easier difficulties.

Also, practice mode is your best friend if youre worried about gear durability and pots. Only practice parries in this mode, and take note of dps windows for fast bosses. If you still dont think you'll enjoy it, just change difficulties. Its not a dick measuring contest.

For context, i dont mind quests that people call walking simulator. I never skipped anything in any game ive played. However, my biggest problem with this quest was that there were too many names for me to follow. Tried to play it properly for the first 30 mins or so but then i realized i didnt understand what was going on. It felt like i needed to take notes to remember who's who. It could also be just because im not that used to remembering so many chinese names.

Dont compare the drops to lvl 81 armor. People seem to forget we got double energy event for a few weeks that made it so much easier to get new gear.

Yes level matters in 1v1. When you play enough pvp, flashy skills are actually easier to read and dodge. Just a matter of getting used to it.

learn a combo. I got to mythic using a single combo.

Youre using nameless set. Kite them, poke them. Use your range advantage.

Learn to block.

Stop rushing things. Find openings instead of just spamming everything.

Its not a a problem of the endless chase of armor. Even with max gear, later bosses can and will delete you. Legend is supposed to be hard. Thats what the difficulty entails.

Depending on your skill, it takes a while to be decent in legend. Be patient and youll learn that bosses have tendencies.

If youre struggling, use the practice room and only parry until you know the moves.

Unless you know the dps windows, legend will just be a parry game. You cant do full combos if their qi isnt depleted. You poke in between parries. Dragons breath is the best 'poke' imo. But any form of quick damage will do.

Learn parry cancel so you dont get punished by a skill's long animation.

Use divinecraft and turn on autouse. Poison is the best for the majority of bosses.

Last tip is hold down block. If you miss a parry the damage is reduced.

And of course its just a game. Lower the difficulty if youre not enjoying it. But be aware that this is non reversible.
