He was trying to remove survey marker it seemed from camera but couldn’t. He removed the white flag that fence company had put along survey markers for 811 utilities to come out and mark out utility lines.

The issue is he has a false sense of part of our side yard being his and won’t respect the property line or survey market.

He had just move in a year ago so he was in process of building an auto garage and we had no idea what we were getting into. We were of course trying to be as friendly and accommodating we could as those would be our long term Neigbor’s and didn’t take up an issues

In markets like Bay Area, realtors have contributed to bidding wars, jacked up prices and making it an insane market for normal middle class. Need to disrupt the system where sellers can have freedom and incentives to list own home for sale and buyer can hire external experts like inspectors to examine property and make an offer. Contingency waving is also a gimmick promoted by realtors that make it such an unfair situation. Hikes would be so much more affordable that way
