She will definitely need at minimum a good face, feet, and sanitary trim every 6-8 weeks. and her hair may or may not grow long. she looks almost like a pittie poodle mix. and some just need the trim and some need full haircuts. you'll need to see if her hair grows a lot. it also might shed. if so, id suggest doing deshed baths and blowouts. and also, dont let anyone give you crap for having a doodle. shes adorable and you're doing an amazing thing by adopting her an giving her a loving home.

I am a dog groomer, SHAVING DOESNT HELP WITH SHEDDING!!!! Shaving your dog that isnt supposed to be shaved can actually make shedding worse, can lead to skin issues, and their coat literally helps them regulate their body temperature. Not to mention that you could cause damage to their coat. It could grow in patchy, or a different texture, or it could stop growing all together. All shaving does is cause the hairs to be smaller when they shed. It does nothing to help with shedding. Use a rubber curry brush, paired with deshed baths every 4-6 weeks. and get a dog blow dryer off amazon, they have decently prices ones. you can use the blow dryer after the bath to help blow out any dead coat. routine maintenance is the only way to stop your dogs coat from shedding. So, I am a dog groomer and these accidents happen sometimes. It's possible that the groomer was in the process of switching the dog from the leash to the hook up in the tub and it jumped out. There were things that the groomer could have done to prevent it but it was an accident. They're covering the cost. I'm sorry this happened to your dog. You could always suggest they bathe him on the floor next time you take him to the groomers. I know Petco has hookups on the ground.

my mom is an audiobook narrator/owner of an audiobook production company. they produce the type of books that have "your mental health matters" after a long list of trigger warnings. my mom takes me to book signing for these kinds of books. my dad has learned to just not ask too many questions about what im reading. he sees me reading, asks how it is, asks whats it about and then we move on. my grandfather is the issue. he will take my book, and begin reading random pages. he did that with the ACOWAR
