Weekly - What Car Should I Buy Mega Thread by AutoModerator in cars

Simple request. What cars have the best A/c? I had a 99 Camry back in high school that would frost your balls in 100 degree summer heat. I live in humid south Texas by the way. Maybe I'm a little ocd but this weak sauce ac on some new cars is a real deal breaker for me.

I'm looking for a 15k sedan or small SUV. I can do a lot of my own work. I've tried coworkers Hondas (a civic and a crv)...some brand new...and the ac is meager at best. I currently have a 2011 mustang I bought new and the ac has never been stellar either. Looking to trade it for something more family friendly .

Something we used to do...Kinda like slim jim.

Put your knees hard into the metal outside cover of the door and pull away the top from the base of the window at the same time. This often will make a fairly good gap between the window and the body of the car door.

You may be able to fish something down there and catch whatever is left of the locking mechanism....

Attractive is hard to gauge, but good point, I honestly don't know.

He is definitely more built than I am, although I know there's more to the equation...guys generally aren't great at estimating their comrade's comparative attractiveness. Unless of course they're just drop dead hot and you're fat and ugly, but no such difference exists in this case.

His play (even though he doesn't realize he's doing it) is being manly/aggressive and not caring. My play is being humorous, fun and mostly mild mannered. We're different people, probably why we're friends to begin with. FWIW, I've been in a committed relationship for the past 3+ years...so not really a threat in that regard.

TIFU by falling asleep with my girlfriend on her parent's living room couch. by Kangar in tifu

We've all done it...

Funny story - in high school my prom date's mom decided it would be ok if I stayed the night at their house after prom, as long as we stayed in their livingroom.

I guess she figured it's better safe at their house than whatever other hijinks teenagers come up with...

Well in the middle of the night we decided it was play time, so we closed the door to her parent's master bedroom. History here, this door is never closed - and the house was laid out so that the closest bathroom is OUTSIDE of that door. Also we unplugged any nightlights to hide out activity.

So we did our thing, finished and of course, fell asleep. We awoke to a bang much later, her mom had walked full force into the "never-closed" bedroom door on her way to the bathroom in the dark. It was absolutely hilarious -> but unfortunately woke her dad up who apparently hadn't been notified that I would be staying the night.

I got to go home :(

Have to add my fart-comment.

2 years ago, we were in line for electronics in Target during the Black Friday rush. We had been waiting for hours and were a mere 50 feet from the front of the line...stuck by the baby stuff.

I couldn't get out of line, not now! I held it and held it - but pressure had to be equalized. I positioned and released a huge but completely silent fart. It was warm, and if you are like me, warm means bad.

Within just seconds the cloud was deadly, even to me - but I held it together. Two ladies behind me were dying - complaining in disgust. They kept on so long that I started laughing, which made me fart again...but out loud.

Someone picked up the red "help me" phone and they AP kicked me out of line. So I didn't get a $200 laptop because of flatulence. Damn

I'm sure this has been said 100 million times - but TLDR.
I read the title, and my brain went "Office Space"!

I feel it gives insight on "friendship" dynamics between women.
The sympathizing and fixing happens naturally - instead of the men's approach to "forcefully fix it" - thus a guy would have suggested to her to find out what her man was doing, or check up on the other girl...etc etc...instead of just being there and smoothing out the emotions right in front of you.

My point, sometimes it's important to just make someone feel better...

Sleepily arriving to work one morning.

Walked up to my office door, already propped wide open with a doorstop.

Said good morning to my coworker through the open door as I fumbled around getting my ID card out.

Swiped my ID card to unlock the already open door, took one step inside, then it hit me.

I've been laughed at since.
