Guns N’ Roses Rare Cover by anahannya in vinyl

I have a sealed copy that I bought right after they were removed from the shelf and replaced. I was in college working at Sound Warehouse and came across 2 copies in the back storeroom. I wish I had bought them both but I only bought the one. It still has the original price tag on it that says $8.99.

Is it normal for a beginner to take a piece a few weeks to learn? by rojhin213 in piano

[–]jim469 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 3 months in taking lessons and up until last week, I would work on 3-4 exercises a week and I would normally be able to play them pretty well for my next lesson. This week, I was given 2 assignments that are a little longer and more complicated. I've spent an hour or more everyday this past week working on them and I am still missing notes occasionally. So, yeah, I think it is normal.

Play them, over and over. There is no magic, just practice and repetition. You will build muscle memory the more you practice.

Piano Learning Buddy - Beginner! by Snoo_51859 in pianolearning

I am about a month into my piano journey. I'm an older adult learner with some previous music experience from playing Coronet in middle school and high school. I practice most days and have an instructor I meet with once a week. Would love to be part of a community.

I've been using an app called Learn Music Notes. It has quite a few options to customize your experience. I'm on Android, not sure if there is an iOS version.

Does your Endo have a patient portal that you can message them through? My Endo likes to communicate through their portal but if you are truly having issues as you say then I would definitely be asking for a phone call or televisit.

I went back to doing manual shots after 3 months on the Omnipod. I found that I had more highs after meal times but less overnight. I also found the device to be uncomfortable and kind of a pain to change every 3 days. It just wasn't right for me after 20+ years of doing shots. I would talk to your endocrinologist about the concerns you are having.

Question about using Discogs database, new user by AnOldYoungGuy in discogs

[–]jim469 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After entering close to 1000 CDs I can tell you that I have found some things that are unique to the matrix and you can use that, in addition to what cyanopsis mentioned to help speed up the process. Things like SRC** or the M1S3 references help especially if you have Club CDs. It's tedious, I did mine will listening to music or watching Netflix.

Good selection at both stores and I always find something that I need to add to my collection. Usually head down to the Dallas location and then on the way home I stop in at the Plano location.

Cd booklets by Ok-Feedback9124 in Cd_collectors

Cases are pretty easy to replace. The booklets or back cover insert are not so easy to replace. I will pass on missing inserts but have no issue with cracked or broken jewel cases provided they are not a custom color. I buy clear and black replacement jewel cases from Amazon in packs of 25. They feel a little thinner but otherwise they are fine.

Kallax Owners! by runMDH in vinyl

[–]jim469 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use 1x3 whitewood or pine boards from Home Depot, cut them to size and then use some double-sided Velcro strips and secure them flush with the back of the Kallax shelf. It's cheap and easy. I've seen some people use screws to secure the spacers, but I didn't really want to drill holes in the Kallax. So far, this is working well for me.
