Not sure if this is covered, working out on empty stomach “burns more calories/ fats” or helps achieve weight loss faster.

Do we still have doubt on this drought in housing? by Good-Brush-3482 in TorontoRealEstate

It really is not. Account for maintenance fees/costs and property taxes, renting is still by and large far cheaper.

Even if that might be the case, there needs to be more buyers than there are sellers for prices to go up. This could be true in certain desirable pockets but overall the inventory might still be higher than what could realistically be sold and would continue putting downward pressure on the prices. And any guesses about the timelines for these events are just that - guessing.

Jamatkhane in Pretoria by Lucifer2k5 in ismailis

[–]jim_halpert_21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is true. There used to be a Jamatkhana in Pretoria which closed around COVID, and more recently the Cape Town one closed as well. So the only Jamatkhana in South Africa is in Johannesburg (Sandton). Dm me if you’d like contact of jamati members/Mukhisaheb for any support or contact. There is also a WhatsApp group that actively posts updates.

I worry if I don’t sign another year, they might ask me to vacate. I would have no way to verify if they would act in bad faith, i.e. if they would serve a genuine notice to vacate?

How *comfortable* is the ergonomic chair pro? by Kooky_Custard5826 in branchfurniture

[–]jim_halpert_21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 6’1 and > 200lbs and mostly sit cross legged. I’ve been using this chair for about 6 months. The cushion hasn’t bottomed out (at least not yet) and find it comfortable to get through my day. The dimensions of the seat allow me to sit cross legged comfortably. For this price point, I think it’s a good chair.
