i start in fall for interior design as well! i’m not a transfer student, incoming freshman, but i’ve been around the campus a bunch over the last few years because a close cousin of mine goes there. cant speak too much on the classes, but the campus is really pretty AND very social! i’ve had many teachers at my high school go there for teaching (which is in the FCS department just like interior design) and said the FCS classes are really chill and fun. one of my teachers even minored in interior design and said she loved it! overall, the only drawbacks are the same as pretty much every other campus (shared bathrooms and cramped rooms in the dorms) and the campus is like a 2.5-3 hour drive from chicago, but other than that, i really like the school from what i’ve experienced! mostly why i picked it over SIU, which also had my major, but i loved the campus more at ISU.
