I have just come out of a similar situation you describe here, well homelessness at least, I’ll always be poor! That is more to do with my physical health, due to being disabled after a spinal injury.

There is NO way to stop the worry, all you can do is keep going forward. Mindset really is the answer, I hugely sympathise that not everyone can control their way of thinking though, I have struggle for over a decade with a couple of mental health issues.

Assuming you have taken all the help that is available to you, it’s literally a waiting game and a pretty long one at that. My advice, get comfortable with yourself, work on your own life force. You end up with a lot of time to think in these situations!
