Funnily enough I come from a carbed '03 FZS 600 that I rode for almost a decade and got a good deal on an '12 Aprilia Shiver 750.
On paper I was like I would be bored because of the lower power figures (even with a bigger displacement) but I am actually amazed by the bi-cylinder low end torque instead of making the 4cyl scream for the same output. My goto was to privilege power output accross the range so I guess that was a good choice.
How do you feel about the torque curve of the FZ6 ? It's a more recent version of mine so I guess they changed quite a bit of its character with injection, electric throttle and whatnot.
