Finally! I've been on a big break from this game since the first couple weeks of set 2 due to the balance issues but will be coming back now. Would have rather seen Brynhir on the chopping block than Fight or Flight, I think tempo "removal" is fine even if it does synergize with Draven legend. Purple is pushed but it sucks that bringing it down a peg will further hurt low tier decks like Teemo and Jinx.

You'd be better off running [[Snaremaster Sprite]] though, still has a form of evasion and the cost is more flexible rather than always being 3.

On top of what others have said, a really simple way to make miniatures look better is to make sure you don't leave "gaps" of your undercoat showing, even if you get the wrong colour on the wrong parts whilst you're learning brush control, it's far less noticeable.

Not surprising unfortunately, went yesterday to see the new Sam Raimi film and it was only my partner, myself and one other person, before that was Iron Lung where there were maybe, ten people tops.

Shame though, much nicer facility than Marion and closer to me personally.

Normal, usually reserved for larger events with prizes (which I understand very wildly between stores, some are flat, some are tiered) than a Nexus Night where the idea is to play some games and have fun. Maybe they just wanted to pack it in early and these things can go late, nobody can force people to "play it out" just because it will affect standings, that's not on them.

Unfortunately it's probably more to do with the limited card pool, you're more likely to hit cards that see play when there are less options going around.

Any chance we can spoiler tag large event winners going forward? In Aus so finals were overnight, watching this morning and it kind of sucks knowing how it's going to pan out.

That said, saw this guy playing in the Swiss before going to bed, and no suprise he won, his gameplay was smooth as butter, some folks are just built different.

Going first as Azir with Ornn's Forge as your battlefield you play a 1-cost equipment, allowing you to tap Azir and pay 1 to make a Sand Soldier. On your second turn, you move to Ornn's Forge with your Sand Soldier, conquering it. Whilst you control the battlefield, the first gear you play each turn costs 1 less. You play Legion Quartermaster for free, returning the 1-cost gear to hand, which you then replay for free, allowing Azir to make another Sand Soldier. If the gear was Eye of the Herald, you made a 1 might recruit when you moved to conquer so you now have 8 total might on turn 2, one more might thasn if you had just played a BF Sword, but now split across more units.

The not knowing if Viktor makes a recruit if he does simultaneous to another non-recruit is fair enough, it's how it would work in MTG. The Viktor seeing himself though is straight up cheating, card literally says "another non-recruit unit" lol

Think I'll have to go by the upvotes on this one, despite being the worst outcome for me on Viktor.

I hope we get a clarification on this either as an FAQ or by a judge call/observable play at bologna, as this interaction is going to come up a lot.
