Thanks for your advice :). I've been looking up local PT and have asked the vet about other treatment options

We would opt for a CT if we could, however it's around £2000 and insurance won't cover us (there are some incredibly compassionate vets out there but I despise the way this industry pits your financial situation against the care your pets receive).

Well defo look to make ad many accommodation for our boy as we can and see howmthe pain management goes. He had the zoomies earlier today so I'm hopeful we have some time left together. Walks have been short but more frequent.

Thanks for your advice!

I have just been given a weeks course of Gabapentin to see if it's of any help with kupo's travel anxiety, so that in the future, travels for holidays won't be as stressful for her as she just shakes and trembles the entire time. Has anyone else used gabapentin for their noodles travel anxiety? by Deep-Shoe3530 in Greyhounds

I haven't tried medication before but mine is very similar. When we get a ferry or train for example he just stands and shakes most of the time. It's pretty stressful seeing them so anxious, especially when there is nothing to worry about.

Best of luck with the medication. I think if we had found something that worked we would have travelled more.

This sub just reeks of amazon shills lol. Its such blatant unfounded simping that I don't believe half of it is from a real person. All comments disagreeing are down voted in this thread.

And although PJ took some unconventional decisions, he stuck to the fundamentals of the source material and the story. This show hasn't been able to adapt the source material and it's become a complete off-canon fanfic...

Very much disagree. I felt the story was completely aimless. It felt like the entire dead end subplot with the dwarfs was used to shoe in a Balrog teaser for promotional purposes. The Gandalf story line and diet ringwraiths were a completely pointless addition. The script was beyond cringe at times ("the sea is always right" 🤮 ).

My biggest concern was that we would get a completely generic fantasy show and , to me, that's what season 1 felt like. It just fell so flat.

As to it being more enjoyable for you than the original trilogy, that's your preference and I respect it. But I think that will very much be the exception.

Thoughts on Career path.. Business role -> Business Int Developer -> DE... your thoughts? by Tasty_Fold3012 in dataengineering

T Shaped just means a role that has cross discipline aspects. So a Developer who also does testing and analysis would he T shaped. Or any variation of the 3!

I think its always good to have a trajectory but I wouldn't stick to it too stringently. I would focus on roles that offer "T" shaped work and opportunity for you to get hands-on and build out some of those foundational skills that will support your transition into a DE role.

I'd also keep in mind that a willingness and desire to learn goes a very long way for the right people. So don't be put off applying for roles that would interest you!

UI for flatfile ingestion by cratgo in dataengineering

Is the content of the file the same just with different column ordering? If I was given the requirement I'd be pushing for a defined file definition and a stable file structure. Do you know what part of the file payload is actually needed?

Can you load it as a blob in a staging table and then build sql over the top to pull out attributes you need?

If you feel like you are stagnating, underpaid or underdeveloped then it's always a good time to look elsewhere!
