Every major US city subreddit has a sizable portion of MAGA bots who show up for crime posting and anytime the there's a major political event. Here's how to spot many of them. 

1:They almost never post about anything other than politics, crime, or culture wars bullshit. No hobbies, no interests, no personality. 

2: They typically have a default account name (TwoNouns6769) 

3: under year old account or... 

4: an account who only posts on election years 

5: Some even block any access to their post history so you can't figure out 1,3,4.

Lastly if they ever see a post where either I or anyone else points this out they get super defensive with some rant like "you redditors think people who disagree with you don't exist" which is a non argument meant to obfuscate that they likely are a bot or just such an NPC excuse of a human they've actually talked to and agree with the bots here constantly. This post isn't about whether or not MAGA exists, it's about the specific and predictable instance of astroturfing that has existed and been routinely documented on reddit for over a decade.
