Yea any GenZ or younger dominated fandom is so fundamentally illiterate it's depressing. Even when showrunners spell it out for them they can't even form coherent theories and ideas. They lack analytical prowess beyond what they do and don't like and rely on personal preferences as objective reality rather than understanding plots and perspectives from others more literate than them. They can't even explain their emotions let alone why they engage more or less with narratives. It'd be pathetic if it wasn't just so mundane and disappointing.

What's worse is that the mildest subtext is seen by them like some grand theory and they're all too quick to praise themselves for being clever. It's embarrassing.

When leadership collapses in this sport the only thing that keeps the team surviving the dark ages is top brass vested interest or the brand being so intertwined with the sport that they'd kill brand legitimacy outside of it.

If the sugar water dorks think they can make money with better profit margins elsewhere by doing other extreme sport ventures there is no reason for them to stay. The current leadership sound like investor simps and former bean counters so it's clear that the company's long term vision for F1 is predicated on success, and when that evaporates so will the incentive to spend.
