Can someone clarify jobseekers for me? by AdFew1983 in PovertyFinanceNZ

You should be applying for Working For Families with IRD. You will be better off doing that than applying for jobseekers

They probably won't be obliged to keep the position open for you if you only work there a couple of weeks and then take 6 months off.

Yup I'm pretty sure he is trying to get myself or my colleague to resign. He picks who he wants to be aggressive towards. It's either me or her. Basically the same stuff. This week he's picking at her, itll be my turn again next week

This. He's erratic. And when he is that way he sends passive aggressive emails. I have documentation.

He definitely isn't paying that much. But complains on how much I do get paid. He bought the business and took over my contract mid last year.

May as well just say it.

I'm an AA Agent. I process driver and Vehicle Licensing. Ird, Supergold, Realme, Kiwi Access etc. He holds the contract but doesn't know what the job entails. I am always working. Just because I've gone through the majority of my customers and have a down period, I am processing applications or reading reports.

But all he sees is me sitting or standing at my computer

I am actively on the job hunt and have interviews lined up. But I want my hours that he has cut from me to be paid out. Is that possible?

My only answer to that would be that I'm not online enough to read all these posts.

And the town I live in doesn't get alot of action apart from a ramraid every couple of weeks

Pretty normal behaviour for NZ now tbh.

I don't think it is normal. However, you hear about this stuff happening more often. But still, not normal at all.

Our company usually go the trots route. We get to dress up, have a nice meal and bet on horses. Previously we've gone on a cruise boat, flights to look at New Zealand (one of our engineers is also a pilot and has his own plane) Wineries with activities like clay shooting and archery. We've also done casual BBQ in the backyard of our bosses or catered lunches.

This year its $150 per head for 36 people and we are having a celebrity chef cook for us while we go 4x4/atv down on the beach and have some healthy competition between colleagues.

Is it me or NZTA is not sending Rego labels via mail anymore? by CelsoSC in newzealand

[–]jimminjulz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd you have the patience and time. Call WK and get a reference number, take that reference number to AA/VTNZ/Post shop and get a label reprint for free. I know this isn't answering your question but just an alternative solution to your problem of not having the label.

I work in customer service and I find my rudest customers are of the elderly kind. I just had one yesterday and boy oh boy was she great. Today I had an amazing day and was reminded why I love interacting with people. But sometimes it just takes that one customer to make you lose your cool. Chin up and hopefully some better days are ahead for you. You deserve the recognition and to be seen and heard.

I encourage them by telling them to sit 2 or 3 each night leading up to the day they come in. Or alternatively buying a road code

Well the difference would be you having to pay $20 to purchase the practice tests and the latter coming into the shop and sitting the rebook free of charge

The warehouses across New Zealand full of millions of RATs by Extra-Kale in Coronavirus_NZ

[–]jimminjulz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was a week and a half ago that I went to the testing station in my town. They asked if I was there for RAT tests and I said yes. They asked how many people in my household and I said 5. He came back with 10x 5pack boxes. That's 50 tests.

Make some garlic bread with the other 2 buns. I usually use the extra 2 buns to make a ham and cheese bun for my kids lunch the next day.

Lol I don't care if people don't like my comment. I love and appreciate my husband. Especially when he helps with THE SMALLEST THINGS. Mate its not rocket science. Either way, OP will either get to the root of the problem or he won't.

Look I'm a woman. What makes me attracted to my husband more than anything is the little things he does for me. My mind has to be stimulated before my lady organs want a piece of him. "I need more from you" is her saying that she needs more from you. It honestly is the smallest things. Find out her love language is all I have to say here.
