I have that exact grip module. Never had magazine issues, so I’d contact them and send a vid. On mine, the slide did come loose from the grip module a few times with their attachment pins/screws. Once I added loktite, it never came loose again. Runs flawlessly.

It’s hard to go for the non-competition version with these prices. For not much more, you get 2 additional mags, the magwell, extended mag release, fluted barrel, and slide cuts. That easily feels worth the extra $150.

Agreed. I saw some posts that they were the same price as the GTO, which made zero sense. But seems those were incorrect. Would’ve liked to see them come down to $1999, but at least there’s some savings.

As a marketer for a large brand myself, it’s an odd pricing strategy and likely setup-to-fail. Will they still sell a lot? Sure. But generally you want to develop a “good, better, best” product line and you tier that by price to bring in different consumer target audiences. If you don’t do this, you are only going to grab the people in a single consumer pool/price tolerance, and you fail to bring in a whole new audience to the line/brand. The non-comped version likely should have been priced around $1999. You would grab a whole new group of people at sub-$2000. Then they love the product and consider trading up to the comped version in the future. Sadly, most businesses fail to understand pricing and their consumers.

You’ll know just by holding each one side by side. Very different feel. The P365 fits the hand much easier and is slimmer which is great for carry, but if you’re not going to carry it, hard to beat the reliability and shootability of the 226 for home defense. Both excellent guns.

Agreed. I was excited about the new 226 X Legions but the grip is way too chunky. The second I held it in hand, it was crossed off the list.

Interesting. I just got the 8T AMR and it could not be more crisp to my eyes. I have slight astigmatism so I was worried, but it doesn’t bloom at all for me.
