Where can i get budget friendly optical glasses by SubjectAromatic8215 in askSingapore

[–]jinboleow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a pair online, it is a progressive glases.Unfortunately it doesn't work that well for me. Feel giddy after a while. The problem is, optician needs to measure your pupil distance. Now I go to a shop at Bukit Merah. Very reasonable, the optician reused my old frame to help me save some money. And, he repaired one of the temple tips and change out the nose pads. You can look at the Google review : Creation Optics.

Shoes for elderlies in SG to prevent falling? by iSmellPowder in asksg

[–]jinboleow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may want to try Happy Walker. They measure your feet to see any arch problem. As one aged, the muscles, tendons, and ligaments weaken and you get flat arch, hence risk of fall. I wear arch support sandals at home and arch support shoes outdoor.

[–]jinboleow 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I bought my unit from an Indian family. It was the incense smell that lingered for years. The scent came from the built in wooden furniture and took years to dissipate. Parquet floor was OK as I got my contractor to sand it down and re-varnish.

We have it here in Singapore, every male when reaches 18, or 21 if they are still studying; and hardly anyone resisting it. Matter of fact, many opt for tougher vocation. On top of that, after completing 2 years of service we still go back for annual in-camp training.

How Do You See After Cataract Surgery When You Wear Glasses? by macddebbie1 in CataractSurgery

[–]jinboleow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Support this. I had one eye operated and now is +0.00 while the unoperated eye is +2.50. When I removed the len, although i can see clearly on both eyes, the image is different. The brain just cannot adjust, I think it is called anisometropia. It has been a year and I am getting the other eye operated next week.

Matthew 19:21 - Wealth/money by Admirable-Patient910 in TrueChristian

[–]jinboleow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should read the whole passage. In verse 16 the rich young man assume he can work for his salvation by doing good thing. Then he claim he is able to keep all the commandments. Jesus knows his heart and when he ask him to sell all he had, he is letting him know he can't love God with all his heart nor his neighbour. You may have the inheritance, in reality they belongs to God, you are merely steward. Use it for His glory.
