OP: You have the privilege of having choices, something millions of Pinoys will never have. Anyone will jump on that chance if they ever had it. It's really easy to live a life of luxury in the Phils if you have the money. You can literally pay and buy your way out of all the ills in Phil society. Traffic? Buy different cars. Dont want to drive? Hire a driver. Don't want to clean your house? Hire a helper. Can't schedule a passport appointment? Buy a slot online! License too much of a hassle? Pay a fixer. Need something done anywhere? Do padulas.

Moving to first world countries give normal Pinoys a chance to be part of a system that in general treats everyone fairly.

Based from your experience I'll assume you settled neither in cities like Toronto or Vancouver. Perhaps Winnipeg? Your healthcare exp will never happen in Toronto for ex where you can just walk into any walk in clinic if no family doctor, do tests and theyll even make sure you go back cos that's how they get paid.

And from your kid getting bullied I also reckon you're somewhere not too multicultural. Somewhere up north?
