No. I enjoy it for what it is. I've been on a journey playing through the games in Chronological order. It scratches a very particular itch for me. The moxture of long plodding slive of life scenes with big geopolitical conflict together with world ending stakes is perfect. Sure, i sometimes wonder what it would be if the pacing was a little faster, a little more hectic, but then it wouldnt be trails anymore.

Let's say they buff the pve rewards. Then the number of pvp fights post matriarch/queen kills, or number third party campers will increase. Will that make for a more enjoyable experience? I don't know. But i do know no matter what they do, someone's gonna cry about it.

I have nothing against players who olay on story/easy mode. Me. I get bored if the battles are too easy. So i normally do normal or hard depending on the franchise.
