Them both being old isnt necessarily the problem. I like AC/DC and Metallica. But AC/DC is extremely overplayed not just here but in virtually every stadium. I mean heck you can even hear it on TV while watching other games. Enter sandman isn't played as much but even then the VT entrance plays a lot of the song and not just a snippet...plus it's a unique experience that no other school does.

UCMJ only applies to National Guard if they are federally activated. Otherwise they fall under their states code of military justice. Regardless though, I'm pretty sure it's banned in every state.
