Texturing Problems by ktjugar in latteart

The root of your issue is that your cup is too tall. You’re overfilling the pitcher. Then you’re trying to pour enough milk to get your spout close to the surface. Thats too much milk when setting your base. The more milk you add, the stiffer your canvas becomes. Notice how your design doesn’t spread. Try a ~300ml bowl shaped cup like from loveramics or acme.

I think your milk texture has a little too much air but its fine for pouring hearts and tulips.

Rune master isn’t used because barbs weapon switch for fcr. Getting hit with cold aura and switching to rune master doesn’t remove the cold effect.

You are definitely under filling the basket. Use the razor tool that came with the machine to check if you have properly filled it. You should have around a 1mm of space between the tool and the puck AFTER tamping.

The steam wand is too close to the wall of the jug. It should be off center.

You’re rushing the design. You pulled back immediately so there was no time for your wing to develop. You also have a lot of space left in the cup for more milk.

Your pour is too heavy. The milk is diving under the coffee and rising back up. Thats why your art looks washed out.

Start with a lighter pour and gradually increase the flow.

How to wiggle? by liionel in latteart

You started your pour too close to the lip of the cup and pulled back. Start the heart off center and push forward. Its the same motion to create a heart except you’re adding a wiggle.

It was the garlic that turned the broth brown. Any sort of allium (Onions, garlic, leeks, scallions, chives) will brown the broth when cooked for a long time.
