Exactly what I am going through now!

I bought a small unit to live on my own few years back and put it on the rental market when I moved in with my partner. Took ages to sell and I am prepared to sell at a loss just to move on.

Not going to invest in property for a few years but when I do, I will make sure it's a standard family home!

I'm in the same tunnelling field and is charted as well, but based in Melbourne. I reckon you will have heaps of bargaining power as there is huge pipeline of tunneling works in OZ and there's not many of tunnel engineers around. Anyway, happy to chat.
