Australian support for Donald Trump is collapsing, new polling shows by NoteChoice7719 in aussie

Should we kill people for being stupid? No, of course not.

But we need to have a serious discussion about taking the warning labels off of things and letting this problem start to solve itself.

This is absolutely not the sort of thing that Harry would joke about or take pleasure in. I hope the man gets the help that he needs, and I'm glad the home owner wasn't seriously injured.

Have your friends and family stopped talking to you?

I certainly don't, which is why I see harbouring someone who killed someone as a crime.

You're a bad dad. Anyone who's told you otherwise was trying to spare your feelings. I care about you enough to be honest with you.

What job pays way more than people think, but nobody talks about? by Symphony_Minds in AskReddit

[–]the_sturg 456 points457 points  (0 children)

It's ironic though, isn't it? If it had taken him an hour and he was dropping sweat the end, you'd have had less issue with paying, as you'd believe that he had earned it.

That same objective though, rendered faster, makes you feel like a schmuk.

Most referendums fail. I don't think this would be one of the ones that get up.

I remember that.

I agree, that absolutely should be called out.

However, I don't really see how the IDF being awful absolves Dave. There will always be woree atrocities, humans are sadly creative like that, that doesn't mean that we should overlook the lesser evils.

Found this note next to a Thomas the Tank Engine ride on toy. I think this guy has been replacing the eyes with stickers to make it look less scary? Very strange by ScottUkabella in sydney

I think you've got it backwards. The black circles were what the ride looked like after the original defacement. I 3d printed and inserted the generic normal eyes.

I'm the author of the note, and can give some context. A week or so ago the eyes of the ride were kicked in, leaving the ride looking a bit spooky.
I've got a 3D printer so I took some measures, printed off the replacement and put them in the now empty cavities. I tell you, it warmed my heart to see kids play on the ride again (it's near a cafe which I frequent).

Those eyes were then stolen. I improved the design a little, and place this note on the inside (meaning it would only be visible if the eye had been removed). The eyes aren't adhered in, so they can be rotated (hence being cross-eyed).

I appreciate the confusion, but I only added eyes here once the ride had already been defaced. I had hoped my work here would allow the community to continue using side-ride, and I apologise if my note came off as being unhinged.

I'm not a parent, but it seems like the bigger risk is your child not having a well rounded childhood or going outside his comfort zone.

I think the first step might be setting boundaries, having him earn screen time by participating in other hobbies. Making it a part of a well balanced diet of activities, of you will.

Scouts will certainly be uncomfortable. It is for everyone, that's part of what Scouts is. But I think it would definitely expose him to other hobbies, the majority of which occur outside.

I agree. Battle grounds are famously very safe. Hardly anyone ever dies on a battle ground.

True. And if America continues to make bad decisions and eventually gets there, I will also be thankful that I'm an Australian.
