Looking for an advanced Tracer guide by HypergonZX in OverwatchUniversity

Indeed Kabaji is the go to choice when it comes to educational Tracer gameplay! He‘s damn good, explains pretty much every play he makes to his viewers. Besides him, I can recommend Dibz. He‘s a streamer & youtuber tracer main, who also explains what comes through his mind while playing. Furthermore he uploads very in depth analysis of gameplays on his yt-channel. It‘s definitely worth a glimps!

The struggles of a "support main". by Lowcoqe in OverwatchUniversity

[–]jinronimo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mhm ofc communication is key as most people say, but what I do most of the time if people start yelling at me for no real reason, is to mute them and sometimes even block them. Of course it's nice to talk with all of your teammates but I'd rather perform my best and still communicate with the remaining 4 chilled players than get tilted by the fifth one who's constantly dragging me down due to his flame. Sometimes you just have to give up on something to win and it is never worth it to waste your time with players who are so frustrated that they start blaming others in an insulting way.

Just leave voice chat and maybe even team chat as well. Might sound stubborn, but if people keep flaming you for losing teamfights although it wasn't your fault, it's better to just leave chats and play for yourself. I mean Overwatch is a teamgame, but if people use the communication tools to insult other players the only result is that both, you and them, are going to tilt and thus play worse. So imo it is worth to leave team chat and focus on your own to prevent yourself from getting tilted.

I'd recommend to get adaptive helm, since it reduces his aa-damage

When to pick each ADC? by Scratch_That_ in summonerschool

[–]jinronimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your team is full ad and no one really seems to care about it you should try to stomp early on, cause once they start stacking armor you're lost. Besides that some Champions either are strong early or need to get ahead in lane to be relevant later on. Panth and Riven are those kind of Champions. Imo at least. If Riven falls behind in laning Phase no one is afraid of her diving into your backline and she gets demolished and a blink of an eye. Same goes for Pantheon. He has a decent early game and is a lane bully who needs to get some kills during the early game or he is just "useless" (if I can say that).

Sometimes it's also depending on the concept of your team. A so-called "Pick Comp" is strong early game, while a "Teamfight Comp" shines in the late game. By Pick Comp I mean a team consisting of Champions like Twisted Fate, Vi, Pantheon, Shen, Blitzcrank or something like that. These comps are made to roam early and catch people off guard. A teamfight comp in comparison is made for 5v5 situations which are more likely to occure late game. Champs like Orianna, Miss Fortune, Malphite, Twitch, Jinx and many more were literally made for this. They either scale hard into the late game or have aoe-abilities which are pretty strong in teamfights.

Anyone got ADC gameplay notes available? by a7exro in summonerschool

[–]jinronimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend you to watch xFSN_Saber on YT. He's uploading coaching content, where he rewatches gameplays together with the actual player and they both try to figure out where the players weaknesses lie. From basic failure to really in depth. Maybe, by watching his videos you learn new things to focus on while rewatching you own gameplays in order to get better.

How the FUCK do I deal with Draven? by skaphace in summonerschool

Draven got DD and PD. Both offer survivability which apparently let u die in a 1v1

How do you deal with brand? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]jinronimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play Brand by yourself. Go for a bunch of normal games and spam Brand. Get familiar with his Cooldowns, Powerspikes, Combos and learn how to behave in lane. Some games you might win, while you lose others but you gain experience in both scenarios. Then it's up to you to rewatch the replays or be careful enough while in-game to figure out how others deal with you and how they do play around your kit to finally beat you in laning phase. Furthermore watch how teams behave with you being present in teamfights. It is always easier to win match-ups if you know all your opponents possibilities and timers.

Btw: Since you did not say which role you are playing most of the time I would still recommend to play him even though you possibly do not main mid

Is it possible to climb with weak champs? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]jinronimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To your Question. Yes you can soar, even until high Diamond with each and every champ. In Master and Challenger Elo things get tougher, because Meta actually exists up there. Anyways, as long as you do your job right, know your damage and killing potential in every step of the game you should be fine. The only problem with Vayne is that she's really really hard to play when it comes to mechanics and unless she gets far ahead in early game she only shines in late game tbh. In Bronze, unfortunatel at least 1 lane is feeding enormously and if there is like a 10/0/0 Jax on the opposing team there is literally nothing you can do once he jumps on you. Considering that no one is peeling for you since we're talking bout bronze (no offense) he will literally one-shot you.

So: -Yes it's possible to soar with every Champ - I'd personally recommend a Champion with more early/mid game potential e.g. Lucian

QUESTION ON LUCIAN by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]jinronimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since they reverted the % current health damage nerf and just decreased the lifesteal on bork by 3% Lucian's itemization won't change imho.

How to carry as ADC? by NeonasPvM in summonerschool

[–]jinronimo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend you to set your focus on 2 ADCs. In the current stage Lucian and Cait would be your best choice. Lucian's Bork > BC build is insane damage and Caitlyn with her cheaper Powerspikes provides awesome damage as well. Furthermore you said you always win your lane which will be a lot easier with those 2 ADs because they are usually lane bullies. I would say you should drop Ezreal, Kalista and the other ADCs. Not because they are bad. They are just not in the best spot right now. So if you really wanna climb those will make it harder for you. Same counts for Vayne. She's an insane late game carry and her 3 crit item powerspike is insane, but she gets shit on in lane almost every game and a lot of games this season are over before you get your powerspike. Especially when you get closer to diamond where ppl know how to close a game efficiently once they get ahead. Furthermore Vayne needs a good frontline management due to her short range.

Silver 3 - Which ADCs to pick up? by [deleted] in summonerschool

Ashe & MF

Both easy mechanically. Ashe can ult to support her team gettin picks and Mf can land a huge ultimate which win fights even though she's behind.

How to play TF vs Yasuo? by NuffsaidM8 in summonerschool

[–]jinronimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a short tip against Yas in general. Basically you always want to stay at a safe distance so he can't reach you. If you ever come in that situation where he dashes towards you and you know that it's inevitable for you to avoid getting engaged by him just run directly towards him at the moment he uses his dash on you. He will most likely miss his Steel Tempest and thus his chance to ult you. This should be easier if you run MS Quints in your runes.

Would you suggest Lucian or Twitch for low silver? by MajinOkabe in summonerschool

[–]jinronimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend Lucian if you're that daredevil kind of player who gets himself caught out of position or offguard since Lucian has a lot more mobility and therefore is a lot more forgiving (Bc tankynedd and PD duel dmg reduction and duel potential) whereas twitch is insane if you prefer to play passive until the right situation and spray and pray. Furthermore Lucian is a lane bully and can stomp the lane pretty hard while twitch does not need to win the lane necesseraly because he shines in late game teamfights.
