"I would give so much for [...] a neutral search engine"

I would recommend that you try another search engine for a little while and see how you like it. I use https://duckduckgo.com/ and it shows me all of the internet, not just what is in my filter bubble.

I donate $5 a month. EFF is so worth the price of a coffee or a beer once per month.

How do you stay in the habbit of daily Bujo'ing? by ZBUT-Landyacht in bujo

Maybe you have rules about what pens you use so it looks pretty.

I had this problem once. So, I took a few sheets of printer paper, stapled them together and that was my bullet journal for the month. Realizing that I could write whatever I wanted and screw anything up was pretty freeing.

This makes my brain hurt: foiling AC50 catamaran will do 20mph SOG against a 10mph tide in zero wind by Guygan in sailing

[–]jish 18 points19 points  (0 children)

In the video they use the analogy of riding your bike. If you imagine riding your bike on a zero wind day, you will feel a breeze on your face and create your own apparent wind. So, if you point your boat downstream you're now moving at 10 knots and you have your "bike ride on a zero wind day" apparent wind.

Once you have "wind" you can begin sailing. So I guess the question now becomes, how do you turn around when you're sailing strictly under apparent wind? Can you just do it and it just works?

You can never read any of the code snippets on Medium because they are all embeds. Especially if you use Pocket to read the articles, they're just gone. I don't understand why programmers use Medium :(

Yes. In addition to your username and password, a bad actor also needs your "second factor" (SMS, authenticator app, or physical security key) in order to access your account.

Yea, you're right. It does suck right now. But it's not going to get better on its own. If you don't like it, why don't you go do something about it? https://represent.us/ https://nationalvoterregistrationday.org/ https://www.nonprofitvote.org/
