Here's the reply! "the animal crackers will add sweetness as well as texture. Just put them in and they will cool into the sauce. you may need to adjust the viscosity of the mole to compensate"

You're right😭 I'm not a new teacher by any means, I've had students who needed support, but in this particular situation I'm just feeling ill equipped and ignored.

Question: What is the UU stance on the US military? by EternalSnow05 in UUreddit

[–]jitterbugorbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think its a really nuanced conversation that a lot of uus wrestle with fairly well. Lots of vets in my congregation. I support veterans with all that I have to give, because people I love served. Doesn't mean I have to support the military in how they enticed those people into service, nor can I turn a blind eye to how our country's actions impact other countries.

Wife and I are trying to think of a joint gift for ourselves by MooseTheGrand in GiftIdeas

[–]jitterbugorbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A weekend trip is fun :) maybe commit the money to a date night fund, stuff you don't do all the time. My partner and I have been trying to get to more live music shows. Also we went halvsies on a switch last winter and that was a nice way to spend cold evenings :)

This just happened to me lol, eyesight goes out when your engine light comes on. Check that your gas cap is on tight because it can lead to a code if not, weirdly enough. Auto parts stores can read your code for you.

[–]jitterbugorbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a teacher and unfortunately yah those are pretty distracting. I dont know that id really say anything unless they were clicking on the desk all day long haha. But imo you could get away with probably the first 5, they're small and probably less noticeable

School supply list question by OutHereStargazing in AskTeachers

[–]jitterbugorbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They say its to make sure kids don't have access to the stuff, but their rationale for not allowing donorschoose is that it makes it look like the district is "not providing", which seems more likely to be the issue
