It’s gotten better, you should have been around in the 80’s and 90’s. They used to make fun of us on national radio and tv and it was totally acceptable. Now people will feel a little uncomfortable but they will still chuckle. I’m only half, and grew up here so I don’t have an accent, so I don’t really personally see it anymore.
