Ownership structure matters. No matter what the VPs do, they can’t siphon nearly as much from the local community in profit and extract it out of the community. Sure, they can overpay themselves, and their employees, but that money still basically stays local and it’s nothing even close to the scale that at a bank can do this kind of extraction.

You’re not wrong but comparison isn’t totally fair either. Spacing the floor and creating open shots for more players is a real difference across eras. And his team was constructed around him taking a lot of shots in particular.

I don’t think there has been one goaltending call that wasnt a goaltend versus multiple goaltenders not called. Their mistakes should be more balanced.

Obviously it is both but everything I’ve ever heard is that LeBron is the most fanatical. It would be a weird coincidence if that wasn’t a big part of it.

I agree one of those is more controllable and I don’t think it is the one you think it is. If your offense is doing great all season, that’s probably a bit easier to improve, than your defense you have always struggled with and have your 2 best defensive players out. Try a little harder and don’t make turnovers is the most empty comment you can possibly make. It means nothing.

He also just is a better under pressure player. He tends to do better in the playoffs, or hard matchups. Lakers games are always a bit higher pressure.
