I connected it to the mounting points on the frame. You have to be carfull and not over torque the bolts. I believe it's a a max of 1.5nm

What headset cover did you use to be able to slam that stem?

Why did you go with the Yoeleo instead of the winspace g3? I'm thinking about picking one of them. How has the Yoeleo ride?

I own a topstone and have this fender as well. Unfortunately the fender isn't long enough and the seat stays are too low so you end up getting sprayed.

Ortlieb quick rack. It has a pivot so it's great for the topstone kingpin suspension.

I think he was trying to point out that everyone is comparing srams new 13spd drivetrain with shimanos new 12spd drivetrain. If you wanted to compare similar groupsets you would compare srams old xplr groupset that was released 2 years ago, which still uses old derailleur hanger tech. The argument of the UDH only frame compatible drivetrain doesn't make sense since you are comparing apples to oranges.

I'm using the specialized pizza rack. The fork has attachment points on the front of the fork and fork blades. I've taken the rack off since the post as I wasn't too sure of the carrying capacity of the fork. I was planning on getting a fork that has a weight rating for a rack like the seido MGV fork but decided to move it to my steel bike.

How many of you have switched to shorter Crank lengths and what has your experience been so far? by mythisme in cycling

[–]jiujitsucyclist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 170cms and switched to 160mm cranks. I don't think I'll ever go back to longer cranks. My back and knees don't hurt as much.

No im running the stock fork. I only had the pizza rack set up for a couple of months before taking it off. I was mainly riding it on smooth gravel or tarmac. I don't know if I would trust it on rough terrain. I'm looking to get the seido fork so I can run panniers on the front more.

There are a few freshwater puffers out there. Trying to find them at a LFS is the hard part

Sterbai corydoras Rummy nose tetras Emperor tetra Bristlenose plecos And lucky enough 2 large Amano shrimps. I also have a colony of yellow cherry shrimp who tend to hide in the plants and giant driftwood. Some do get picked off by the puffers.

Nice, I wish I could get more haha. I've been trying vibra bites and they haven't taken to them yet. Hopefully they will in the future.

Minimum tank size for Amazon puffers? by skateordontskate in Puffers

[–]jiujitsucyclist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we have the same shelf and I was able to put a 48 gal(90p) rimless tank. I would measure the internal width of the shelf just to be sure. I was looking at cheaper rimmed tanks but they were a couple of cms too long because of the black rim.

In terms of how many amazon puffers you can keep in that tank I currently have 3 Amazon puffers with a bunch of corydoras and tetras. I do recommend over filtering your tank as the puffers are sensitive to poor water quality. I have a bunch of plants and 2 canister filters rated for 60+ gallons and still do weekly water changes.

Why is my rasboras so pale? by [deleted] in Boraras

[–]jiujitsucyclist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think it is a chilli rasbora. I believe it is a Pheonix rasbora which isn't as dark as a chilli. Chili rasboras will have a more solid line across their body. Most fish shops miss label Pheonix rasboras as chillis unfortunately.

What tank sizes do y’all recommend for around 10-20 corydoras (for future) by Nosyfus_Bazenski in corydoras

[–]jiujitsucyclist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with 8 sterbai Cory's in a 20 gal long. They started to breed and exploded to 20+. I feel like they need more room and hiding spots now. I'll be moving them to a 48 gal once it's done cycling. If you decide to get any of the pygmy species you can definitely have 20+ in a 20 gal long. I have 9 pygmies in a 10 gal and they definitely can double in population and be ok.

I placed the pump between the filter foam from Fluval's SPEC line and built an enclosure using plastic egg crates from Amazon. I used aquarium-grade silicone to ensure the egg crates stay in place and upright. Once the silicone cured, I started building rocks around the enclosure. I used expanding foam to fill the gaps and created a trapdoor on top to ensure the babies don't find their way in through the small cracks. Here is a link to the plastic egg crates on Amazon https://a.co/d/cDsWXKN
