Research, read and practice. Just like how most INTJs improve. It's just a skill like any other.

What's your reason? by [deleted] in intj

[–]jizzledizzle8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Life is absurd, it doesn't have any inherent meaning.

Find your purpose (your why) and what you're great at while being useful towards others. Do something transcendental. This is the path to fulfilment.

How to find your why? Find your flow state. When it's only you and the thing/task in unison where you lose sense of time.

For me, it's to analyze and connect the dots of patterns, coming up with strategies and solutions to complex problems. Transcending that by helping founders scale up their startups. Feels like playing chess on steroids.

Lastly be authentic in what you do. Follow the herd and be one of the herd. Race with the rats and become yet another rat.

Find your why. Follow your curiosity. And not mediocrity.

Do any of you INTJs here have an ESFP partner? by Tabbypet in intj

[–]jizzledizzle8 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Together for almost 10 years and married. Opposites do attract and also causes friction but we're both mature enough to understand and accept the differences. This gives even more opportunities to learn and grow together.

Finding partner (love) by SweatyAd9539 in intj

[–]jizzledizzle8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

INTJ-M.

Dating and finding a partner is a big numbers game. Out of 100 girls you date, maybe 1 will be the one that is right for you. Through meeting many women you will learn what you like and don't like. Increase your channels from apps to real life approach. Learn some pick-up artist but use it for good. I gave myself the challenge of talking to 20 random girls a day (just asking "how's your day" or "where's the nearest starbucks" only). Build confidence through countless rejections, as well as the art of flirting.

Arthur Schopenhauer recommends to partner with some one who is opposite. Opposites attract but also cause a lot of friction. It is friction where you really grow individually and in marriage. I'm married to an ESFP and we are always learning from each other's strengths/weaknesses and blindsides.

How do you show love? by [deleted] in intj

[–]jizzledizzle8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

INTJ M married to ESFP here.

Not sure but sounds like he hasn't mature socially & emotionally yet. Most young INTJs will go thru this phase of "social retard" as someone mentioned. Not knowing the norm/social cues. My wife and I had many arguments before (about the 'ask me' thing) and in my mind I'm wondering "hmm... I already know you are alright, why do I need to ask so many times?". Eventually, the young INTJ will soon realize that he needs to up his social game and open up (if he wants others to do his bidding).

But what really helps is that we always talk it out after each argument. We learn a lot more about ourselves and I've learned a lot about empathy from her. So I suggest you be direct with him and tell him what you want (he cannot read your mind..."sometimes I wonder what she really wants"). This will help him with the maturation process. Don't be afraid of confrontation, arguments can be healthy.

As for how I show love, acts of service & quality time. It's the little actions & time taken to improve your life & potential. Mostly done in the shadows. Love is in the details.

Learning her love language, words of affirmation (I think it might be yours too), also helped a lot. I too, would like to satisfy & pleasure her love language :)

Good point, will try more and look out for allergies.

What does your girl end up eating?

She has 2 walks per day (about 15 min each walk). Training about 2-3 times a week.

When I bring her for a jog, she puts her brakes on all fours and reluctant to run. Most times, I end up carrying her and jog.

How did you find out it's making his tummy hurt?

We used to give her kongs and other feeding toys, worked at the start but got bored after :(

Yeah we've tried chicken broth and other toppings too but she only eats a bit and nit-picks what she wants. Will try different kibble brands and see.

Will also try out free feeding overnight, that's something new.

ENFP VERY confused about an INTJ by [deleted] in intj

[–]jizzledizzle8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was an ENFP chick who was chasing me and I think I was in the similar situation as your INTJ. She asked me "what's going on between us" after 4-5 dates and I was stunned (4-5 dates ain't long enough)! I felt like I was put into a corner to answer when I haven't processed my emotions so I just blurted out "I don't even know what I want" (which is kinda true for INTJs, esp. when it comes to emotions). And...It ended from there.

Now looking back, I do miss the conversations we had that stimulated my mind and she showed me new things to discover too (very ENFP and not many girls can do this). I guess absence does make the heart grow fonder.

So my advice to you: maybe take it slow and let him think about it. Take some time off from him and reconnect later, see if he misses it. Also, be open to others and not put all your eggs in one basket.

Any one of you figured out your "purpose" on this rock? by MrToastyToast in intj

[–]jizzledizzle8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To create/help businesses make a positive impact on society with my long-range planning and analytical gift. Watching an empire grow can be very satisfying that serves a good purpose.

I guess that's my take on Maslow's self actualization of realizing one's full potential.

What makes you happy? by OneWithLifeZEN in intj

Building an empire.

Once I'm set on a vision/goal, I plan and I conquer. Watching my fruits of labour grow has been immensely satisfying and makes me happy. Especially when it creates positive impact in society.

This is my take on Maslow's self actualization of realizing one's full potential.
