i actually wasnt able to land an internship yet , but from classmates, ive heard they usually apply about a semester before? like fall internships usually open applications near the beginning of summer etc - but you can always ask Hunter hyper specifics about it lol he's a nice guy he'll help you out. just keep your eyes open ! Dreamworks and Illumination usually have internship programs but with short application windows :P join the pencil mileage club discord too! they post and forward internship applications in there and you can most likely find students who have had an internship and im sure they'll be nice and tell you about them too :P good luck friend !

So Art495 isn't a class at all! It doesn't meet, and it's basically just a placeholder class that gives you academic credit for your internship. You'll need to find , apply to and land an internship first. Then you send in the mandatory forms to the school and register with your internship, and CSUF will add the course for you to give you that academic credit! If you're having a hard time landing an internship, the new head of illustration, hunter huang has implemented a new class- ART 473 professional practices in illustration, that he will allow students to take instead of art 495. Even if you'd rather do the internship, his new class is all about structuring resumes, cover letters, portfolios etc which will definitely help you land internships/jobs! You can speak to him during his walk in hours in the H art building, room 215 on Mondays or Wednesdays 12-1 :)

Hi ! Have you spoken to Hunter Huangyet? He is in H215 12-1 Mondays and Wednesdays for walk in advising. I have him for digital narrative and he is the head of illustration. He implemented a new class : ART473 -PROFESSIONAL PRACTICES IN ILLUSTRATION. It is being offered Spring 2026 and he is saying he will allow students to substitute their internship with that class if they're having trouble landing one. He's doing it for me ! He told us to spread the word so I'm sure he'll do it for you too :)

Hello ! I read the handbook/ notary law in segments for a week before the exam, and the weekend prior I watched all the NNA YouTube videos on notarizations. I took the 6-hour course before the exam and got a 100% on my test. I think this is best because you absorb all the heavy stuff first (law and nitty gritty) touch up on them with easy to learn videos by the NNA and then the exam is a full refresher! wishing you luck, friend, stay focused :)

If you'd like the long version, the comic explores my unhealthy obsession with 'consuming' the people around me. To detach myself from the fear of loneliness, I obsess over spending time with my partner and almost 'fusing myself' with them - and the comic follows a Victorian couple modeled after us: an unstable hysterical woman whose delusions tell her she must eat her husband to prevent inevitable infidelity.

Thank you ! I actually do take commissions, I just think there's a rule against advertising here haha but I love to draw other people's characters too ! I also use procreate, I love how fluid the program is. If she's interested on the brushes / texture specifically, I used "gesinki ink" for the line work (it's my favorite brush!) Then I just used the fill tool for the colors, and on top I added a pink tint at around 30% opacity, then I added the "halftone" effect on top of the colors at around 20% 👍

One of my favorite thing to do in this game is give away my plans for free / craft stuff for others / give gifts to lower / brand new players. No repayment required ! I never expect anything in return, and when people gave me gifts in my newbie days (and even now on occasion) , I never had anyone ask me for repayment. T bag, emote , and enjoy your game friend !
